Green School Project is the very first initiative taken by Green Bangladesh to support the under-privileged rural students. Green Bangladesh has inaugurated this project on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Hingarpara Girls School and College, Sadullapur, Gaibandha. At the initial stage Green Bangladesh selected 16 meritorious needy students from 8 different schools from Gaibandha District. The event was inaugurated by the Honorable District Commissioner of Gaibandha Mr. Abdus Samad. As special guest, there was the UNO Mr. Abdullah Al Mamun Talukdar, Chairperson, Green Bangladesh Mr. Adel Ahmed, Vice Chair or Green Bangladesh Mr. M. Abu Rashed was present in the event.

Green Bangladesh wants to make people convince about cleanliness. As a part of this mission it has lunched Clean School and Locality Project. Initially, with this project Green Bangladesh encourages students to keep their environment clean in order to attain a healthy and happy life. Besides, in every school there will be a volunteer group who with other fellow-mates will take part in cleaning program. Green Bangladesh has organized such cleaning programs in different schools of Sadullapur, Gaibandha in 2016. A formal session of cleanliness was demonstrated among the students and advised to keep their environment trash-free.

Transforming Bangladesh through leadership is what Green Bangladesh works for. Through leadership training Green Bangladesh wants to make future leaders who will bring sustainable development to the country. To hear from the youth and know their views Green Bangladesh is going to introduce a TV program named ‘Transforming Bangladesh through Leadership’. In this program, different school, college and university students will participate and express their views on different concerning issues.

Green Bangladesh Education Center started working to encourage students towards learning, and creating new ideas. It offers different interesting books to them to enhance their knowledge and understanding. Besides, it arranges different quiz and competitions so that they can have a reasonable thought about their surroundings.
